FLT Driver / Site Operative

Location: Burscough, Lancashire (L40 8LT) Pay Rate: £12.91 per hour Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (30-minute unpaid break)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver / Site Operative to join a busy warehouse and site operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Counterbalance and Reach forklifts safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading wagons
• Handling and sorting hazardous waste in line with site procedures
• Supporting warehouse and site operations, including sortation duties
• Ensuring goods are moved and stored accurately
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Valid, in-date Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
• Reach FLT licence (desirable)
• Previous experience operating both Counterbalance and Reach trucks
• Experience loading vehicles in a fast-paced environment
• Good awareness of health and safety practices
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
