Control Room Shift Operator (Control Engineer)

What you’ll do
- Monitor and respond to telemetry alarms across multiple systems, maintaining continuous awareness of asset performance and identifying emerging issues.
- Take appropriate action to manage and escalade operational events, supporting incident response through clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Accurately log events and actions within ICC systems, ensuring standard operating procedures are applied consistently to maintain safe and efficient operations.
What you’ll bring
- Calm, methodical approach in fast‑paced environments; strong attention to detail, accountability, and prioritisation skills.
- Experience working in a control room, operational or process‑driven environment, capable of rapid assessment and sound decision‑making under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, proactive, disciplined in following procedures.
- Good IT skills, comfortable working across multiple systems, and flexibility to work a 24/7 shift pattern.
