RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and coach shift managers and crew, working on the line and in the dining area
  • Support the General Manager in the delivery of perfect burgers & fries, store results and providing an above & beyond experience for your team and customers

  • Ensure every customer is delighted with their order and their Five Guys experience – deal with complaints promptly, open and honest
  • Ensure each shift runs smoothly and our values form part of shift management, thinking about long‑term plans
  • Take full ownership of your P&L – drive sales while controlling costs

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 1–2 years of management experience in a similar high‑volume hospitality or QSR environment
  • Proven track record of customer satisfaction – numbers to prove it, driving customer satisfaction scores, increasing engagement, and consistently delivering excellent Mystery Shopper results and positive reviews
  • Experience assisting with P&L management, controlling labour costs, and managing inventory/waste to hit profitability targets
  • Strong leadership skills – proven to lead, coach, and motivate a team, developing people and identifying future talent
  • Solid understanding of Food Safety standards, Health & Safety regulations, and maintaining 5-star hygiene ratings
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

CAREER PATH

Five Guys provides support and tools to build a career. Following this role, you could progress to Deputy General Manager or General Manager, and ultimately to an Area Trainer, District Manager, or a role in the Support Office.
