Rainbows provides expert end‑of‑life and palliative care for babies, children and young people at our hospice, at home or in hospital – supporting families across Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire. Last year we supported around 1,000 babies, children and young people, and approximately 3,000 family members, including families, siblings and carers, across. Simply put, we’re here to brighten short lives and support families wherever they are.
About the role
As our Events Coordinator, you will support the Senior Events Officer in delivering fundraising and awareness‑raising events. You will help coordinate our established programme of events, including the Derby Cathedral Abseil, Santa Run and Skydive, while also contributing to the development of new opportunities and experiences for supporters. Support the Senior Events Officer in monitoring event performance and producing detailed reports as required.
- Cross‑department and Third‑Party Collaboration: Contribute to the delivery of Rainbows‑hosted and third‑party events, coordinating with suppliers, colleagues and volunteers to ensure income is maximised, expenses are minimised and budgets are met.
