Dance Teacher

Role Overview

Dance Teacher KS3 & 4 – Contract Type: Permanent – Pay scale: Inner London Pay Scale. Site: A mainstream secondary school in Lambeth, close to West Norwood train station, rated “Good” by Ofsted in 2023.

Responsibilities

• Teach Dance across KS3 & 4, in line with the most up‑to‑date examination specification.
• Adhere to departmental schemes of work.
• Keep records of students’ attendance via SIMS.
• Follow high quality teaching guidelines as defined in the Staff Handbook.
• Use resources, check student files, provide learning support, utilize ICT, and implement health and safety procedures.
• Apply classroom management policy as defined by the school.
• Attend in‑service training, classroom observation, and feedback sessions with the Head of Department.
