Swimbies swim teacher

As a Baby & Pre-School Swimming Teacher your primary role will be to deliver excellent quality Baby & Pre School swimming lessons inline with our product SWIMBiES.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons in the water following the programme plans.
• Sing in public as a large part of the role.
• Communicate effectively with all customers, creating a welcoming, safe, fun and loving teaching environment.
• Plan and complete any necessary administration to ensure a positive customer experience from entry through to lesson completion.
• Act as the face of the baby lesson programme at GLL centres.

Qualifications

• STA Level 2 Award in Baby & Pre School Swimming Teacher
• Swim England Level 2 Teaching Pre-School Swimming
• STA Level 3 Diploma in Baby & Pre School Swimming Teacher
• If you do not hold the above qualifications but hold a STA Level 2 Award or certificate qualification, we will work with you to develop your delivery experience.
• Mandatory: STA Level 2 Award or equivalent completed within 6 months of commencing regular lessons.

Experience and Knowledge

• Experience working with babies & toddlers.
• Experience working with parents & guardians.
• Understanding of child development in relation to baby swimming lessons.
• Knowledge of songs and games suitable for baby swimming lessons.
• Planning and completing any necessary administration.

Employment Details

Full‑time permanent position based at Sleaford Leisure Centre & Better Gym Sleaford (flexible cover teacher). Option to join the flexible worker engagement pool.
