An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Clinical Trials Administration Assistant. The successful candidate will be based within the Research and Innovation department as part of the administration team and will work between The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre – Liverpool and The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre – Aintree. The post holder will be employed and managed by The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre (CCC), supporting both the Commercial and non-Commercial clinical trials portfolio, providing comprehensive clinical and administrative support to the Research Practitioners.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive data and administrative support to the Research Practitioners;
- Liaise with other Trust departments;
- Obtain medical reports from other Trusts and GP Practices;
- Support the Research and Innovation team with clinical trials administration.
Qualifications & Skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Eye for detail and excellent IT and time management skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and organise the priority of own workload;
- Previous experience working in the clinical trials environment desirable but not essential;
- Highly motivated and genuine interest in research.
