We are looking for an experienced fettler / Grinder to join a busy manufacturing business in Leicester, LE4. This is a temp to perm opportunity with steady hours, premium overtime, and the chance to join a growing team.

The role

• Grinding, finishing, and dressing metal castings/components
• Removing excess material and surface imperfections
• Operating hand‑held power tools and fettling equipment safely
• Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

What we are looking for

• Previous fettling, grinding, or metal finishing experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Awareness of workplace health and safety practices
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable with a positive attitude and strong teamwork
