Location: Wirral

Pay: £90‑£100 per day

Job Type: Full‑time, long‑term

Role

This position involves supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) within an education setting, including:

• Autism (ASD)
• ADHD
• SEMH (social, emotional and mental health needs)
• Behavioural needs

You will work as a Teaching Assistant on a 1:1 basis or in small groups within the classroom, helping pupils access learning and develop key skills.

Experience Required

• Working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant (LSA), or within a school
• Supporting children or young people within an education setting
• Support Worker, Care Worker or Youth Worker roles
• Working with special educational needs, autism or behaviour
• A background in education or a degree such as psychology is beneficial

Requirements

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work within a school environment
• Confidence supporting behaviour in the classroom
• Interest in a long‑term role within education
