As a Lead Water Technician, you’ll be working within the South West Water team, supporting them in working on schemes including mains laying, pressure management, district metering and large mains repairs. Your day to day will include:
- Carrying out manual labour in setting up site, excavating, preparing and installing water fittings
- Undertaking planned or reactive work as directed from water services to large diameter mains
- Ensuring levels of productivity working within timescales and to targets
- Updating all relevant documentation on each job using a tablet
- Being part of a rapid response team that works around the clock to deliver and restore clean water
Qualifications
- You have previous utilities experience
- You hold a valid full driving licence
- You have a willingness to upskill and develop your career
- You enjoy working collaboratively and building effective relationships
