Vision for Education is recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to provide short-term cover for teacher absences across both primary and secondary schools in East Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

This position is offered on a zero-hours supply contract, giving you the flexibility to choose when you work while gaining experience across a range of local schools.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher.
- Supervise pupils across a range of subjects and year groups.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Ensure pupils remain on task and complete the work provided.
- Liaise with teaching staff and report back on pupil progress and behaviour.
- Work in both primary and secondary school settings across East Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
Requirements
To be considered for the role, you will:
- Have previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar classroom-based role.
- Be confident leading a classroom and managing behaviour effectively.
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Be adaptable, professional and reliable.
