Role and responsibilities
Provide support to colleagues on the various digital systems and applications used within Suffolk Highways and the wider Growth, Highways and Infrastructure directorate. Monitor the shared mailbox and respond to support or training requests, produce guidance documentation and videos, and collaborate with the asset data team on joint projects. Work closely with the Technical Development Manager and System Support Technician to streamline processes using digital solutions.
Apprenticeship
Level 3 Digital Support Technician (Digital Support Technician / Skills England). Duration: 18 months.
Required skills
- Initiative and problem‑solving skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, etc.) is helpful
The ideal candidate does not need to have all technical expertise yet but should have a willingness to learn and develop.
