We are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with communication, interaction, cognition and learning difficulties and to help all children in our school flourish.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to pupils in the SEND Unit as the first point of contact.
- Support pupils across the school while adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Supervise groups and occasionally whole classes for a session.
- Deliver a high standard of nurturing and education through quality interactions and authentic relationships with all children.
- Offer one‑to‑one support as required.
- Act as a proactive, flexible, reliable team player and offer support to colleagues when needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships to put the school community at the forefront of our work.
- Assist children in making progress by working closely with a supportive team and external professionals.
- Provide regular feedback to the class teacher, Senior Leadership Team and colleagues regarding children’s progress and wellbeing.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Level3 Teaching Assistant or actively working toward Level3 qualification.
- Relevant, up‑to‑date qualifications and/or recent training that equips you to support a range of communication, interaction, cognition and learning needs.
