Teaching Assistant
Widney Junior School is looking to appoint a Child‑Specific Teaching Assistant to support a child with a diagnosis of Autism who presents with a PDA profile.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support to a child with Autism and PDA.
- Assist with classroom activities, behavior management, and communication strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement support plans.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children with complex additional needs, particularly Autism.
- Knowledge of PDA and supporting strategies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
