Early Years Teaching Assistant – Part Time

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school team. This part‑time role supports Nursery children during the lunchtime period, ensuring a safe, positive and nurturing environment.

• Assist children with lunchtime routines (eating, hygiene, social interaction).
• Promote independence, good manners and wellbeing throughout the lunch break.
• Work effectively as part of the Early Years team.
• Commit to safeguarding and promote the welfare of children.

• Experience working with young children, ideally within an Early Years setting.
• Patient, caring and able to build positive relationships with children.
• Committed to safeguarding policies and procedures.

Working Hours & Salary:

• Actual Salary: £3,856 – £3,979.
• Hours: 6.5 hours per day, 38 weeks plus 5 inset days or 30 weeks to cover Nursery lunches.
