Driver’s Mate
Pay rate: £13.50 per hour

We are looking for a Driver’s Mate to start ASAP for our growing client base across the IP postcode, with all the support from our experienced Driver Hire team in Ipswich.
The successful Driver’s Mate will receive:
- £13.50 per hour
- Guaranteed 10 hours per day
- 28 days holiday prorated on PAYE
- Upskilling to HGV, ADR and HIAB after satisfactory probation period

What to expect as a Driver’s Mate:
Working Monday to Friday on 6am starts. You will be riding with an HGV driver assisting with navigation and the installation of specialist equipment to commercial premises. Shifts will be at least 10hrs long. You must be physically fit due to the nature of the products being transferred and installed on site.
As a Driver’s Mate you must have:
- Be reliable
- Be physically fit
- Experience in installations preferred but not essential
- No more than 6 effective penalty points
- No DG, DD or IN endorsements
