Job Title: SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant
Location: Bradford
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £95 – £115 per day
Responsibilities
The successful Behaviour Support Worker will support students across Key Stage 3/KS3 and Key Stage 4/KS4, delivering a mixture of 1:1 support and small group interventions, promoting positive behaviour and helping students engage successfully with their learning.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND and challenging behaviours
- Experience working within an Alternative Provision, SEND setting or similar environment
- Excellent behaviour management and de-escalation skills
- The ability to build positive and trusting relationships with students
- A patient, resilient and proactive approach
- A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
