Flourish Education are recruiting for a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Bilston area. This is a full-time role starting in September for either a long‑term or part‑time role.
Our client is a friendly and inclusive school with a supportive leadership team and a collaborative staff body. The school places a strong emphasis on ensuring children feel safe, valued, and engaged in their learning. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills to create a positive and structured environment for learning, while also ensuring pupils are well‑prepared for the transition into Key Stage 2.
Job role
- Key Stage 1 Teacher
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Managing behaviour effectively and maintaining high expectations for learning
- Assessing and tracking pupil progress to support academic development
- Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Attending staff meetings and contributing to school life as required
Required skills and experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching across Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, SATs, and phonics screening
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to plan, deliver, and assess high‑quality lessons
- A commitment to supporting every child to achieve their potential

Working for Flourish Education
- £168.80 to £232.57 per day which equates to £32,916 to £45,351.15 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
