Location: Swindon, SN25

Starting Rate: £13.50 p/h DOE

Contract: Temp to Perm

An experienced Print Finisher is required for a temp-to-perm assignment with one of the leading print manufacturing companies in Swindon, Wiltshire. The role demands high quality output and innovation across the finishing process.

Main Duties

• Operate specialized machinery and manual finishing techniques.
• Cut, fold, bind, laminate and perform quality‑control checks to meet exact client specifications before dispatch.
• Bind, assemble and prepare finished jobs for delivery, ensuring they are packed securely according to client or shipping requirements.
• Perform routine cleaning on finishing machines.
• Manage the final stages of print production.

Skills Required

• Previous experience working in a print department.
• Mechanical aptitude – strong technical ability to operate and adjust heavy machinery safely.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadline pressure without compromising quality.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• FLT (Reach / CB) is desirable but not mandatory.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, rotating shifts (Week 1: 6 am–2 pm / Week 2: 2 pm–10 pm).

Hourly Pay Rates

Starting salary is £13.50 p/h (DOE but baseline is £13.50) during the 3‑month probation period, after which the hourly rate will increase upon being offered a permanent contract.

Successful candidates will have experience in a similar role and will be selected through onsite interviews.
