Driver- Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE)

Overview

Sentara Pace is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Driver.

Position Details

• Location: Portsmouth, VA (home base)
• Work Shift: First (Days)
• Position Status: Part Time, Day Shift
• Pay Range: $16.35 – $23 per hour
• Compensation: Base pay, incentives, and full‑time benefits

Responsibilities

Operate and drive automobiles to transport patients, visitors and vehicles within the organization’s parking lots and surrounding areas, ensuring adherence to safety rules.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current driving record with no major or minor violations defined by Sentara, at time of hire and annually.
• CRD93 form required for authorization of driving record requests.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Certification/Licensure: Active driver’s license (required).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year working with the frail or elderly (required); Minimum 6 months of professional driving experience (required).
