Hammersmith | September 2026 Start | Full Academic Year | SEN Specialist Role
A large and inclusive primary school in Hammersmith is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join its specialist support team from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled SEN professional to work closely with pupils across Key Stage 2 who require additional support to access learning and achieve their full potential.
Your responsibilities will include delivering targeted interventions, implementing individual support strategies, and working collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to ensure pupils receive the highest standard of provision.
Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Confidence working within a KS2 setting
- Understanding of a range of learning, communication, and behavioural needs
- Skill at delivering interventions and adapting support strategies
- Patience, resilience, and a child‑centred approach
