HGV Class 2 Driver

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Refuse & Recycling Driver/Loader in Oxford to join our team on a permanent basis. The role offers a competitive salary of £33,159 to £34,318 per year, a 4-day work week (Tuesday to Friday), and benefits such as pension, paid leave, health programs, and sick pay.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 (Category C) HGV vehicle to collect waste and recycling from residents and businesses
• Ensure routes are completed efficiently, safely, and to high service standards
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and courtesy
• Play a vital role in maintaining a clean and functioning city environment

Qualifications

Essential qualifications include a valid Class 2 licence, CPC driver card, and digital tachograph card. The role requires a team-focused approach, strong health and safety awareness, and a commitment to high standards.
