Job Title: Graduate Teaching AssistantLocation: DurhamPay: £475-£557 per week (depending on experience)Start Date: ImmediateContract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

Graduate TA Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities
• Provide one-to-one and small-group assistance to pupils where required
• Encourage positive behaviour and active participation throughout the school day
• Assist with preparing learning materials and organising classroom resources
• Monitor pupil engagement and provide feedback to teaching staff
• Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Graduate Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• A degree in any subject is essential
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essentialExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to supporting learning
• Genuine interest in pursuing a career within education
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
