Secondary Humanities Teacher (QTS Required) – KS3 & KS4 – Secondary School in Sale, Trafford

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Humanities Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school from September for the full academic year. This is a full‑time role with a full teaching timetable, delivering engaging Humanities lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The Role

• Teach Humanities to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons.
• Assess, mark and provide constructive feedback in line with school policies.
• Monitor student progress and support learners to achieve their full potential.
• Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school team.
• Contribute positively to the school’s learning environment.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level (KS3 and KS4).
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent planning, assessment and marking abilities.
• A commitment to raising achievement and inspiring students.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
• All candidates must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before starting work.
