About the Role
SWIFT Temps Ltd Driving Recruitment Division is recruiting on behalf of our client for reliable and customer‑focused Doorstep Milk Delivery Drivers based from their depot in Keighley. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well‑established business delivering milk and associated products to households across the Yorkshire area. Both full‑time and part‑time night shifts are available, offering excellent work‑life balance with Friday and Saturday nights off every week.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a 3.5‑tonne delivery van (Category B licence)
- Delivering milk and associated products to residential customers throughout Yorkshire
- Loading and unloading milk crates and products safely
- Completing deliveries accurately and efficiently
- Providing excellent customer service
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Following all road traffic legislation and company health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Full UK Category B driving licence
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Comfortable working permanent night shifts
- Physically fit, as the role involves lifting and carrying milk crates
- Reliable, punctual and self‑motivated
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous multi‑drop delivery experience desirable but not essential
Shift Patterns
Full‑time – Approximately 36–38 hours per week, worked over 4 nights per week, 11:00pm to 7:30am.
Part‑time – Approximately 18–19 hours per week, worked over 2 nights per week, Friday and Saturday nights off every week.
Pay & Benefits
- £14.14 an hour, rising to £14.64 after 6 months
- £250 bonus for part‑time and £500 bonus for full‑time
