Job Overview
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants to work on a full‑time, long‑term basis starting in September across Coventry, Warwick, Alcester and the surrounding areas of Warwickshire. We supply to innovative and welcoming Special Needs Schools, supporting children and young people aged 5–16 years with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and helping them access learning.

- Salary: £80‑£105 Per Day (Paid Weekly)
You may work with pupils diagnosed with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Learning Difficulties, Sensory Impairments and/or Physical Disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Providing general classroom TA support, small group intervention sessions, and 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.
- Completing administrative tasks as required.
- Supporting the monitoring and tracking of academic progress.
- Promoting and maintaining positive behaviour management strategies.
- Following statutory safeguarding guidance in line with KCSIE.
- Encouraging engagement, independence and confidence.
Requirements
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above.
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND (minimum of 3 months).
- A patient, resilient and nurturing approach.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to adapt to the individual needs of pupils.
Appointment is subject to satisfactory references, an Enhanced DBS check and pre‑employment vetting checks to ensure safer recruitment in Schools.
