Are you a Primary Teacher looking for a Key Stage 2 teaching position?
Flourish Education is recruiting a Primary Teacher to work in a Year 4 class at a two-form-entry primary school in Cannock.
Our client is seeking a Key Stage 2 Teacher to work on a part-time, long-term basis, starting in September 2026 and continuing until December 2026.
Responsibilities
- Plan, assess, and mark pupils’ work in line with the school’s policies
- Deliver engaging, creative, and inspiring lessons that support pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with the Teaching Assistant and other class teachers to provide high-quality learning experiences
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
Candidate profile
Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced teachers, are encouraged to apply. Our client has the capacity to support ECTs through their induction years.
This is a part-time position, with working hours of Tuesday to Thursday, 8:15am–4:30pm.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Confidence in leading and managing a classroom
- Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team, including alongside Teaching Assistants and colleagues
- A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning

- A competitive salary of up to £232.57 per day (M1–M6, paid to scale depending on experience)

This school is located in Cannock and has excellent transport links from Hammerwich, Cannock Wood, and Norton Canes. On-site parking is available for those travelling by car.
