Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and compassionate permanent part-time Family Support Worker practitioner with experience of working with children, young people and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and deliver effective Early Help interventions.
• Engage families and lead meetings.
• Work in partnership with multi‑agency professionals.
• Manage a varied caseload.
• Support families to achieve sustainable change.

Key Requirements

• Experience working with children, young people and families.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge.
• Commitment to improving outcomes in line with the Families First approach.
• Excellent communication, organisation and record‑keeping skills are essential.
• Ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to travel across the borough as needed.
• Based within Dudley’s Best Start Family Hub.
