Daily Duties
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with Autism (ASD), Learning Disabilities (LD), ADHD, and other additional needs
- Deliver small group interventions to develop communication, social, emotional, and academic skills
- Support pupils in accessing the curriculum through personalised learning strategies
- Adapt classroom resources and activities to meet individual learning needs
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive engagement in learning
- Promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour using consistent strategies
- Work collaboratively with class teachers, the SENCO, therapists, and other professionals
- Support pupils during lessons, breaktimes, educational visits, and wider school activities
- Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress and wellbeing
- Build positive, trusting relationships that help pupils feel safe, valued, and ready to learn
- Help create a nurturing, structured, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive
