Block Driver (HGV)

Are you a skilled HGV driver looking for your next challenge? CDS Labour are on the lookout for reliable, safety-conscious Block Drivers to join us on a temp to perm basis. We can offer you a minimum 45 per week (overtime and weekend work also available).

Role of Block Driver

• Deliver loads across the Central Belt efficiently and safely
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects
• Keep your vehicle in top condition while ensuring timely deliveries
• Follow all health & safety regulations on every journey

Requirements

• Valid Category C or C+E licence
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Minimum 2 years HGV driving experience
• Strong understanding of safe working practices
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends during busy periods
• Must pass the Check & Hazard Awareness Test with 65% or higher
