Responsibilities
Our partnership school is seeking a History Teacher to deliver subject content, assess pupil progress, and promote an understanding of how historical events shape the modern world to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. This is a full-time role, and the position is due to start in September until Easter.
- Deliver subject content to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Promote an understanding of how historical events shape the modern world.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience teaching History within Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Setting and marking homework, classwork, and exams in line with school policies to provide constructive feedback.
- Monitoring pupil progress against set targets, interpreting data to identify learning gaps, and implementing targeted interventions where needed.
- Studies of a significant society or issue in world history and its interconnections with other world developments.
