Driver HGV Class 1
Location: Bromley
Salary: Competitive (Includes every other Saturday and good Friday)
Hours: 49.5 hours weekly
Note: May have to work at other sites on occasions.

Responsibilities
- Driving any vehicle supplied by Veolia, having received relevant training
- Carry out and complete daily vehicle checks and daily defect books as instructed
- Ensure that the vehicle is in a roadworthy condition and report any defects to the supervisor or manager immediately
- Be responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is kept clean and tidy both inside and out at all time
- Ensure that all loads are safe and secure by using sheeting systems provided as well as any fall arrest systems to get up, down and on top of the trailers
- Report any accidents or incidents that occur during shift immediately to the supervisor or manager to ensure relevant accident/incident report is duly completed and submitted for investigation
- Ensure all road traffic rules and regulations are adhered to at all times
- Ensuring the correct completion and submission of tachograph uploads as per the company policies and procedures
- Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Once driving duties are completed assist with any other duties at directed
- Follow all reasonable instructions given by the manager or supervisor
Qualifications
Essential
- Clean valid UK driving licence
- Class C & E licence
- Previous driving role experience
Desirable
- Previous waste experience
