• Position: Class 1 C & D Driver
• Location: DPD Group UK, Middleton
• Salary: £37,118 per year (estimated)
• Contract Type: Permanent
• Employment: Full time
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Shift Pattern: 11:00 – 19:45

Core Responsibilities

• Handle multi‑drop collections and deliveries across your local area, achieving time‑sensitive deliveries and predetermined collection schedules.
• Ensure strict adherence to time‑critical scheduling requirements while upholding the company’s standards for world‑class service.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate digital journey records, ensuring full compliance with all relevant digital tachograph and transport regulations.
• Proactively participate in the safe and secure loading and unloading of trailers, ensuring freight integrity and security throughout transit.
• Act as a professional ambassador for the DPD brand, exhibiting a flexible, solution‑oriented approach and maintaining a positive corporate image in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence with CE entitlement.
• At least 6 months experience operating LGV C+E vehicles.
• A current UK CPC Card and a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Reliability, safety‑consciousness, and alignment with DPD DNA: Passion, Respect, and Accountability.
• Great interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, logistics‑heavy environment.
