Trowel Trades Technician

We are looking to hire a Technician to support the Trowel Trades area. If you have a wealth of industrial experience, a passion for your craft, and a desire to inspire our learners, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain resources and equipment, including mixing mortar and clay mixes.
• Ensure work areas are clean once students have left.
• Carry out stock takes and order tools and materials.
• Assist and support staff and students in the effective and safe use of equipment.
• Perform practical demonstrations from time to time.

Qualifications

• Completed or in process of completing an appropriate Craft/Technical Qualification up to NVQ Level II or equivalent.
• Forklift driving license is an advantage.
