Staff work collaboratively to ensure pupils feel safe, supported and engaged throughout their learning journey.
Responsibilities
- The SEN Teaching Assistant will work on a 1:1 basis with a child in Reception who has been diagnosed with Autism / ASD, supporting the child throughout the school day from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
- Support engagement, routine, communication and social development.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Experience supporting children with Autism / ASD
- Previous experience working within a primary school setting
- A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
