About the role
The Thomas Hardye School is seeking a highly organised Examinations Manager to lead the management of examinations at Key Stages 4 and 5 in a busy secondary school environment. The successful candidate will problem‑solve, follow all school policies and procedures, and manage a small team without direct supervision. Responsibilities include liaising with support services, teachers and senior leaders to ensure a compliant and robust examination process, supervising and line‑managing examination officers and a large team of casual invigilators, and ensuring accurate data entry and adherence to external bodies’ administrative requirements.

- Experience working in a school in line with examination processes.
- Attention to detail and a proven record of accurate data entry.
- Knowledge of examination administrative requirements of external bodies.
- Good understanding of data protection requirements.

Employment Details
Grade 7. Salary £24,256, with possible increments to £27,076. Full‑time equivalent salary up to £29,540. Salary may be negotiable for a candidate with successful experience in a similar role. This role is UK based and candidates must establish right to work as part of the appointment process.
