Lecturer in Travel & Tourism

Hours: 37 per week Salary: £32,916 – £42,280 per annum Organisation: Chelmsford College Closing Date: 15 July 2026

Position Overview

The thriving team of Creative & Performing Arts are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Full‑time Travel & Tourism lecturer. The successful candidate will primarily teach Level 2 and Level 3 Travel & Tourism programmes with opportunities to teach related subjects within the department. The role involves supporting and designing new curricula for 16-18 and adult learning programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons to Level 2 and Level 3 students.
  • Assist in the design, support, and delivery of new curriculum for 16-18 and adult learning programmes.
  • Assess and support students in NCFE programmes.
  • Maintain a high standard of teaching and learning practice.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience teaching and assessing NCFE programmes.
  • Relevant industry experience in the travel and tourism sector.
  • Experience in curriculum design and delivery.
  • Teaching qualification and an excellent record of teaching and learning practice.
  • Ability to plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons.

Salary & DBS
