Class Teacher – KS1

We are looking for an energetic and inspirationalteacher to support the teaching andlearning of pupils in KS1. Someone who is passionate and enthusiastic and whocan create engaging lessons to inspire a love of learning in our students. We are a vibrant and inclusive infant school (federatedwith Southwood School and Downs Barn School) dedicated to providing a nurturingand stimulating environment for our students.

The successful candidate will be ableto:

• Develop and deliver creative and engaginglessons aligned with our curriculum
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroomenvironment where every student feels valued
• Differentiate to meet the diverse learningneeds of our students so they can achieve their best
• Implement effective classroom managementstrategies promoting positive behaviour.

You will:

• Have QTS
• Have a strong understanding of childdevelopment and effective teaching practices
• Be an excellent communicator, able to workcollaboratively with the year group team and wider community
• Have a passion for education and a commitmentfor fostering a love of learning in students
• Be kind, caring and understanding and goodrole model for our pupils
• Be sensitive to the wide range of children’sneeds experienced in main stream schools
