About the role

Pay starts from £14.18 an hour, rising to £15.45 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

Standard weekly hours are a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours, with the option to work as few as 12 hours per week.

Availability must align with the following windows. We schedule the contracted hours within these periods and provide 3 weeks’ notice for shift times.

  • Sunday: 18:00 – 22:00
  • Wednesday: 18:00 – 22:00
  • Thursday: 19:00 – 23:00
  • Friday: 19:00 – 23:00
  • Saturday: 19:00 – 23:00

Responsibilities

  • Deliver customers’ shopping trips, ensuring vans and trays are clean, organised and roadworthy.
  • Keep the delivery area tidy and remove litter.
  • Wash and maintain trays as required.
  • Communicate with customers about order changes, short codes or substitutions, and offer refunds for any dissatisfaction.
  • Treat products and deliveries as if they were your own.
  • Deliver during the customer’s designated time slot and call before arrival if early.
  • Inform the store or centre if running 30 minutes or more late.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) held for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
  • Ability to adhere to GB Domestic Driving Rules.
  • Strong customer‑service orientation, warm and welcoming when interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • Capability to work independently while collaborating with managers and team members.
  • Energetic and proactive, willing to embrace change and contribute ideas to improve store performance.
