Sales Assistant – Sevenoaks

Contract: Full time, contract or bank basis, across 7 days a week. Salary and benefits: To be discussed at interview, depending on contract type.

At Hospice in the Weald, we are committed to providing outstanding care for people facing life-limiting illness and supporting their families. Our network of retail shops plays a vital role in helping to fund this care, and due to the growth of our retail operation, we are looking for enthusiastic and professional retail staff to support our shop in Sevenoaks.

As a Sales Assistant, you will support our Shop Managers when they are away, or provide an extra pair of hands in busy shops when needed. You will help with the day‑to‑day running of the shop, including opening and closing, supervising volunteers, cashing up, managing donations and stock, and delivering excellent customer service.

We are seeking individuals who have a passion for retail and customer service and enjoy working as part of a team. Ideally, you will have previous retail experience, but we are open to candidates with transferable skills from other areas, as full training will be provided. You will be enthusiastic, reliable, and willing to learn, with the ability to support volunteers, work hard, and help create a positive and welcoming shop environment.

As this role may involve working across different shop locations, access to appropriate transport is required. A full driving licence would be beneficial but is not essential.
