Job Description:

This role is ideal for someone with field sales or direct selling experience who enjoys autonomy, building relationships, and delivering results in a fast‑paced retail environment. Responsibilities

  • Work with the Regional Sales Manager to sell Carlsberg Britvic’s portfolio of beers, ciders, and soft drinks.
  • Make face‑to‑face contact with convenience (Symbol and Independent) retailers, establish and retain new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a territory business plan focused on maximising sales opportunities.
  • Build outstanding relationships with customers and understand their needs and local consumer trends.
  • Use a full category‑based selling approach to grow and develop every outlet.
  • Analyse data and evidence‑based retailer successes to drive best practices in your territory and across the team.
  • Maintain a growth mindset and adapt solutions to overcome challenges and win over stores.

Qualifications

  • Target‑oriented, driven team player with enthusiasm for building relationships.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good administration, organisational and planning skills.
  • Commercially astute with negotiation techniques.
  • Self‑motivated and IT & social media literate.
  • Strong and resilient, with the personal energy to act at pace.
  • Participates as part of a proactive team.
  • Full valid manual driving licence.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and live within a 60‑minute commute of the role location.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in convenience or FMCG.
  • Merchandising or POS execution experience.
  • Direct selling skills.
