Each person we support has different support needs, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.

The people we support all have varying needs and are looking for new Personal Assistants to help them with some of their day to day needs such as personal care, meal preparation and administering medication. You may be supporting someone who requires moving and handling and full training will be required. This is a varied to role and we are specifically looking for new staff to take on shifts to cover nights (4pm – 10pm) and weekends (7am – 2pm). Sadly, it’s not always possible for the people we support to manage what many people would consider daily tasks without proper, dedicated support.

Responsibilities
- Assist people with personal care, meal preparation and administering medication.
- Provide moving and handling support and receive full training.
- Support positive behavioural and social networking activities.
- Work nights (4pm – 10pm) and weekends (7am – 2pm) as required.

- The ability to adapt your communication style to develop successful and enjoyable relationships with the people we support.
- The commitment to work with individuals through their personal support plans to ensure people achieve their goals and outcomes and celebrate their successes.
- A positive and flexible outlook to your work and ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
