We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Haverhill seeking an enthusiastic Drama or Music Teacher to cover a maternity leave starting in January. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to deliver creative, engaging lessons and inspire students across KS3 and KS4.
Role Overview:
Teach Drama or Music across KS3–KS4 following the school’s curriculum and schemes of work
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that promote creativity, confidence, and artistic development
Assess and monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback and support
Contribute to school performances, productions, or enrichment activities where applicable
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) or equivalent qualification
Experience teaching Drama or Music at secondary level
Strong communication, classroom management, and organisation skills
Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to supporting student achievement
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
