We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Drivers for a well-established food distribution company based in Bicester OX26. This is a Flexable longterm ORtemp-to-perm opportunity offering consistent weekday work, early starts, and long-term stability for the right driver.
This role involves manual handling and is ideal for drivers with food & multi-drop experience.
As a HGVClass 2 Driver, your duties will include:
Delivering pallets and cagesto pubs, bars, and commercial premises
Manual handling of loads using barrows and cages
Completing 815 drops per day, depending on route
Working alongside drivers mates where applicable
Completing delivery paperwork and PODs
Providing professional customer service at delivery points
Hours & Pay:
£17.50 per hour (PAYE)
Monday to Friday only
Start times to suit – choose your shift! Days or Nights!
1012 hour shifts
Weekly pay
Perm opportunity after a successful probation period
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience (essential)
- Previous food ordrinks, or multidrop experience preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Safety boots & hi-vis vest required
