We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team.
You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across a variety of projects.
This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring all work meets regulatory standards and client specifications.
As our Electrician you will be responsible for:
- Performing electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations on various systems and facilities
- Conducting routine inspections and testing to identify issues and prevent breakdowns
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems, implementing effective solutions
- Installing, testing and commissioning new electrical equipment and systems
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and engineers to ensure safe and efficient work practices
- Working in challenging environments, including heights and confined spaces
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including test results and inspection reports
- Staying up to date with industry developments through ongoing training
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
- Minimum 2 years in electrical installation and maintenance
- Full UK Driving license
- Relevant electrical qualification
- Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (highly advantageous)
- Hands-on experience in residential, commercial, or industrial systems
- Competent in testing and inspection, including EICRs and PAT Testing
- Strong understanding of BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)
- Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act
- Ability to identify faults and apply safe, effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills for customer and team interactions
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery safety features
