Be part of one of the UK?s Great Places to Work!You havePassion and experience in supporting others ideally in a supported housing settingLevel 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or are willing to work towards it)Experience assessing referrals and coordinating supportThe ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approachWorking with customers with adult social care needs in a residential setting, support and duration of support tailored to meet the individual?s needs.You will be based at an office in a residential service and be part of a Countywide team of outreach and residential workersStronger togetherWe do our best work when we?re ourselves. Where we?re flexible with you, we do need to meet the needs of our customers. That may mean adapting your start or finishing times on occasion.Weekend work will be required on a Rota basis/ No sleep ins / We don?t work Bank Holidays/ After your probationary period you will have the opportunity to become an out of hour?s On-Call responder (paid at £50 for the first hour or part of the hour then at your usual rate of pay should the call out take longer).You may also be required to do shifts at other houses in Penzance, Newquay or St Austell. All houses accommodate customers with Adult Social Care (ASC) Needs.
