Delivery Driver and Warehouse

Our client based near junction 29 of the M5, is looking for a full time permanent experienced Van Driver and Warehouse Operative.This is an interesting role which is mainly moving stock in a Luton van with a tailgate. Up to 10 deliveries per day. When the deliveries are complete you will be involved in the day to day operations within their clean, modern warehouse. Duties will include processing goods in and out. This position involves working closely with the project team, to ensure stock and materials are available at the right location, at the right time.Key Responsibilities Completing up to 10 deliveries per day in a Luton van with tailgate .Helping in the Warehouse and Engineers StoreMaintaining a safe working environmentLoading and unloading vehiclesUse equipment in accordance to safe working practicesAccurate goods receivedEnsure all goods are correctly labelled and placed in allocated areasSafe delivery of goodsChampion the processing of the recycling and re-use activitiesSafe and timely delivery of equipment We are looking for Previous commercial driving experience (Essential )A keen interest in technology, particularly Audio and Visual is welcomeAttention to detail ( Essential )Team focusedFlexible and adaptableReliable with a positive can do attitudeGood communicatorExperience of Microsoft Office Suite ( Desirable)Full clean driving licence ( Essential )B1 Forklift licence ( Desirable )First Aid and Manual Handling Certificate (Desirable) This role requires a level of fitness, stamina and some physical strength.
