Financial Litigation Solicitor

Job Description A leading Legal 500 firm is seeking to appoint a Litigation Solicitor to join as an Associate/Senior Associate Solicitor (5+ PQE) within their Commercial and General Civil Litigation team. This Litigation Solicitor role offers the opportunity to work on complex and varied disputes within a well-established, friendly and growing team involved in nationally reported cases. Key Responsibilities for this Litigation Solicitor role: Manage a varied caseload of commercial and general civil litigation matters, including shareholder and company disputes, debt recovery, contract disputes, PI, negligence, and property litigation. Conduct advocacy in the County Court and High Court where appropriate. Liaise with Counsel and manage external legal resources effectively. Undertake costs management, budgeting and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedures. Achieve billing, time recording and fee-earning targets, while supporting the firm’s credit control processes. Provide strong advocacy in both County Court and High Court proceedings. Maintain excellent knowledge of CPR and litigation procedures.
