Job Title: Multi-Skilled HVAC EngineerLocation: Hove (based at client’s commercial head office, with occasional travel to London sites) Salary: £48,639 per annum Benefits: Company van + call-out allowanceRole OverviewWe are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled HVAC Engineer to be based at a client’s commercial head office in Hove.You will play a key role within the site maintenance team, ensuring all HVAC systems and associated building services operate efficiently, safely, and in line with client expectations. This is a client-facing role requiring a high standard of professionalism and technical expertise.While the role is primarily based in Hove, there will be an element of flexibility required, including occasional support for London-based sites.Call-Out & Working PatternCall-out rota: 1 in 4Standby allowance: £125 per weekCall-out payment: Minimum of 4 hours paid at overtime rate per attendanceOccasional requirement to cover London sites as part of the call-out rotaKey ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on HVAC systemsDiagnose faults and carry out repairs on air conditioning systems, pipework, and associated equipmentPerform basic electrical maintenance, including fault finding on control circuits and associated HVAC electrical componentsCarry out minor electrical works such as replacing components (e.G. contactors, relays, sensors, and motors)Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and company proceduresComplete risk assessments and point-of-work risk assessments prior to tasksMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performanceSupport installation, upgrades, and refurbishment of HVAC systems where requiredProvide technical support and guidance to colleagues and subcontractorsMonitor subcontractor works and ensure compliance with RAMS and site standardsEnsure adequate stock levels of consumables and arrange replenishment when requiredRespond promptly to emergency call-outs and maintain clear communication with the clientIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement and report to the Technical LeadHealth & SafetyAdhere to all company and client health & safety policies at all timesReport hazards, incidents, and risks immediatelyEnsure all works are carried out in a safe and compliant mannerSkills & Experience RequiredHVAC Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC (or equivalent experience)Minimum 5 years’ experience in HVAC maintenance and installationStrong knowledge of HVAC systems, fault finding, and industry standardsBasic electrical experience is required;
