NnWe’re partnering witha leading defence technology business to recruit a Trade Compliance Officer to join their UK Legal & Compliance team. NnThis is a genuinely varied role where you’ll work across Engineering, Projects, Operations and Legal, ensuring complex defence products and technology remain compliant throughout their lifecycle. NnThis is a standalonerole, you’ll become the go-to person for trade compliance across the business, supporting major programmes while helping shape internal processes and compliance standards. - Managing UK Export Licensing (SIELs, OIELs & OGELs)
- Advising on UK Export Control Regulations, Customs and International Trade Compliance
- Supporting compliance with UK, EU and US regulations including ITAR and EAR
- Preparing export licence applications and maintaining licence compliance
- Conducting internal audits and compliance reviews
- Delivering ExportControl and Trade Compliance training
- Managing sanctionsscreening, denied party screening and end-user due diligence
- Working alongsideEngineering and Project teams to classify products and technology correctly

nAbout you? N Circa 5 years’ experience within Trade Compliance or Export Control N Strong knowledge of UK Export Licensing and Customs Regulations N Experience working with ITAR, EAR and international trade regulations N Previous experience withinDefence, Aerospace, Engineering or another highly regulated environment N Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills NnWhats in it for you?
